The Positive Impact Circle is a space where impact-makers thrive. Its members inspire, empower, and learn from each other. The Circle fosters a dynamic network of changemakers who reunite to address society’s pressing challenges.
During the Positive Impact Dinner, attendees reflected on the kind of impact they want to make. The event was moderated by Tom Marshall, one of the passionate young impact makers in our Circle.
A new group of alumni has joined the Positive Impact Circle, reflecting on a year of connecting changemakers and fostering societal change through events like the Mentorship Café.
Erasmus Alumni Club & Young Erasmus Circle
When joining the Positive Impact Circle, you will automatically become a member of the overall Erasmus Alumni Club. You will receive a monthly newsletter and gain access to all alumni events. Additionally, if you are younger than 35, you will be automatically enrolled in the Young Alumni Circle. This is a network that offers events and activities for ambitious young alumni members.
Your investment
To join the Positive Impact Circle, members pay the regular annual Erasmus Alumni Club membership fee based on your age: below 30 (30 euros per year); between 30 and 40 (50 euros); between 40 and 75 (100 euros); and above 75 (30 euros). There are no additional costs required to join the Positive Impact Circle.
The Circle events may require a small participation fee, which is to (partly) cover the costs of the event.
The Positive Impact Circle organizes events available to all Circle members.
Berfu is a Partnerships & Business Development Officer at SNV where she focuses on driving impactful partnerships and initiatives to make a difference for communities worldwide. She was the Chairperson of the Erasmus Sustainability Hub and has taken on various roles at Erasmus University Rotterdam and beyond in the field of positive impact. Berfu was awarded the prestigious 'Diana Award' for her exceptional work in social entrepreneurship, quality education, and youth empowerment.

Renske obtained her Master's degree in Global Business and Sustainability and now works as a Project Manager at Medux, a provider of high-quality healthcare products and services. Driven by a profound interest in sustainability and positive social and environmental impact, Renske has built a rich experience, actively contributing to various projects and volunteering initiatives in the field.

Arno has lived abroad most of his life. From Dubai to Aruba, he has worked in many international environments. For his degree in Business Administration at the Erasmus University he was already tasting a bit of these international adventures. Currently is working for projects for the World Bank and the UN. Most of his work is about innovation in sustainable development.

After obtaining her Master's Degree in Public Administration Tamara worked for the Dutch government in different positions and started her career in recruitment and HR at KLM. Nowadays she is a freelance consultant with the aim to help purpose driven organizations in the search for the perfect candidates. She believes that Erasmus Alumni can be of great value in the search of finding answers to what is needed in society.

Florence has worked on various sustainability projects, including social entrepreneurship, circular economy, sustainable energy, and diversity & inclusivity, before, during, and after her master's in Global Business & Sustainability. Dedicated to societal impact, she has forged partnerships for collective change. She now applies her expertise as a policy maker for Public Facilities and Culture, alongside volunteer roles, to create local impact.
