Program Highlights:

The evening kicked off with a warm welcome by Sam Roelands and Berfu Ege, both board members of the Positive Impact Circle, who opened the event and set the tone for an inspiring and impactful night. Following the opening, a series of inspiring pitches from various NGOs took place, showcasing their work and mission to create meaningful change in communities.

Guests then enjoyed a delicious, sustainable, and vegan buffet that also emphasized the importance of reducing food waste. This was not just a dinner but an opportunity to engage with the various organizations and learn about how one can personally contribute to an NGO.

A highlight of the evening was the networking session, which allowed alumni to connect on a deeper level. This was followed by a Table Topic with rotation, providing attendees with a dynamic space to discuss key issues and share insights. The Networking Card Challenge added a fun twist, with several lucky winners taking home prizes while further enhancing the connections made throughout the evening.

These activities fostered a great mix of alumni from various backgrounds, sparking rich conversations and collaborative ideas that will undoubtedly continue beyond the event.

Before the evening concluded, Florence Li, another board member of the Positive Impact Circle, took the stage to express heartfelt thanks to the NGOs for their participation and contributions. She also officially closed the program, setting the stage for the final networking drinks, which allowed guests to continue connecting in a more relaxed and informal setting.

The Positive Impact Dinner was truly a night to remember, reinforcing the Erasmus Alumni community’s commitment to creating sustainable, impactful change in cities and beyond. Stay tuned for more updates on future events and ways to get involved.
