  – this is an evening you won’t want to miss! We’ll dive into the th
 eme of sports\, with inspiring stories and fascinating insights. Join us o
 n June 11 for a special alumni event at the historic V.O.C. Rotterdam — 
 one of the oldest football clubs in the Netherlands. This unique setting w
 ill be the backdrop for an inspiring evening full of engaging talks and me
 aningful connections. Speakers We are proud to welcome dr. Arne van Liende
 n\, PhD candidate at the Erasmus Research Centre for Media\, Communication
 \, and Culture and Lecturer at the Erasmus School of History\, Culture and
  Communication as our keynote speaker. His work explores the intersections
  of sport\, media\, and diversity — a timely and thought-provoking topic
  for our alumni community. The evening will also feature personal stories 
 from two elite student-athletes at Erasmus University: Nur Al Jawahiri\, m
 edical student and football player for Sparta Rotterdam\, will share her j
 ourney balancing professional sport with academic ambition. Selma Konijn\,
  Olympic canoeist and Orthopedagogy student\, will speak about the challen
 ges and triumphs of pursuing both athletic and academic excellence. Come c
 onnect with fellow alumni\, hear inspiring stories\, and celebrate the spi
 rit of Erasmus University. As always you can bring a +1 to the event\, jus
