On 11 September, alumni came together at Fenix Museum for Beyond Borders: Discover Fenix with the Erasmus Alumni Club, organised by the Positive Impact Circle and Art & Culture Circle.
The afternoon combined art, migration, impact and connection. Alumni explored Fenix and its exhibitions, from the Suitcase Labyrinth to the iconic Tornado, before coming together for talks by Anne Kremers, Director of Fenix and Erasmus University Rotterdam alumna, and Berfu Ege Sobe from the Positive Impact Circle.
Anne reflected on the story behind Fenix and the universal search for a place to feel at home. Berfu introduced ideas from her forthcoming book Impact by Design, using her Impact Compass to explore how initiatives can create more sustainable and lasting impact.
The afternoon concluded with drinks and conversation, bringing together alumni from different generations, disciplines and professional backgrounds.
