Are you ready to put your chess skills to the test? Join the Young Erasmus Circle at Woudestein campus for an exciting chess event that promises to be both fun and challenging! Chess has gained a lot of popularity lately, with many professional players, including world champion Magnus Carlsen, streaming online. Our event welcomes everyone, from experienced players to those who are just starting out. Beginners will even have the opportunity to learn a few chess tricks during a short lesson.
Don't miss your chance to compete against fellow alumni and make new connections at your alma mater. The event will conclude with a small tournament, where the winners will receive a prize.
Our chess lesson will be led by none other than Erik Teichert, the President of Young Erasmus Circle. Erik is an experienced chess player who has been involved with the game for many years. In addition to his role as President of Young Erasmus Circle, he has served as the treasurer for the chess club 'De Stormpionnen' in Leiden since its inception in 2009.
Join us for a night of strategic gameplay, networking, and memories. Register now to secure your spot at this exciting event!
